Marquis Announces Marquis Carbon Intensity Farmer Program

Marquis is proud to announce in collaboration with our local grain elevators and Verdova the Marquis Carbon Intensity Farmer program.

As we await additional federal guidance on 45Z, we are investing in our growers’ operations by paying for a third-party (Verdova) verified Carbon Intensity (CI) score on our growers’ existing farm operations.

The Inflation Reduction Act, coupled with our previous investments in high-efficiency bio-refining, opens the door for corn producers to bring us low-CI corn and position themselves for the opportunity in 45Z.
