We Are Marquis Energy
Part of the Marquis group of companies, Marquis Energy has biorefineries in Hennepin, Illinois, and Necedah, Wisconsin. Marquis Energy Illinois produces more than 395 million gallons of renewable ethanol fuel per year, Distillers Dried Grains With Solubles (DDGS) and Distillers Corn Oil (DCO), as well as engages in carbon capture, soybean crush and the production of Marquis ProCap Gold. Marquis Energy Wisconsin produces more than 100 million gallons of renewable ethanol fuel per year. Combined, the Marquis Energy biorefineries produce more than 495 million gallons of renewable ethanol fuel per year.
The Production Process
Marquis Energy ethanol is produced through the natural process of fermentation, enhanced by cutting-edge enzymatic and technological developments, to efficiently convert the starch in corn to fermentable sugar. Because we are committed to utilizing every part of each kernel of corn, we also produce Distillers Dried Grains With Solubles (DDGS) and Distillers Corn Oil (DCO).

Soon Producing SAF and Renewable Diesel
A new Marquis company, Marquis Sustainable Aviation Fuel, is constructing a 120 million gallons per year integrated sustainable fuels plant using low-carbon intensity (CI) feedstocks to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel.
