Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in maintenance of 78 acre undeveloped land and 3,800 sq ft residential home.
Notify manager and assist with repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural upkeep. Identify issues early and take initiative to resolve problems.
Operate high-pressure cleaning equipment to wash buildings, and operate a variety of tools including jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and blowtorches.
Follow proper equipment procedures when utilizing power tools to prevent damage to property.
Use machinery to assist with landscaping, snow removal, clearing trails, building and maintaining roads, and other tasks across the 78-acre land and 0.7 acre residential lot.
Manage miscellaneous projects around various properties with minimal oversight. Conduct seasonal preparation tasks as needed.
Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space, and be responsible for clearing debris.
Conduct daily assessments and maintenance on multiple machines, which includes greasing, fueling, checking fluids, and cleaning air filters.
Perform weekly cleaning of the shop, (sweeping) driveways, and curb and gutter areas to maintain a neat and organized work environment.
Ensure that all trucks and equipment receive a thorough interior and exterior wash at least once a week.
Assist with landscaping tasks, such as clearing branches, cutting trees and limbs, and raking or shoveling.
Clean office restrooms and sinks, and take out the trash regularly to maintain a hygienic workspace.
Follow project instructions from the Property Manager.
Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in regular periodic Environment, Health, and Safety training.
Desired Skills, Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Landscaping, masonry, or construction experience is preferred
Possess a strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins.
Able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights.
Able to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 100lbs.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Pay Scale & Benefits
The starting wage for this position is $25-$30/hour, with potential adjustments based on skills, experience and qualifications.
