Duties and Responsibilities
Implement automation technology throughout our production system.
Convert late model equipment and dated processes to more modern approaches.
Help in developing facility systems that increase throughput, efficiency, and reliability.
Train others how to implement automation systems.
Create, build and implement machines that help reduce dedicated labor needs.
Assist with new and used equipment purchases.
Coordinate data management and analysis with various departments, including Production, Operations and Maintenance Managers.
Identifies root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
Communicates with various departments, including Production and Maintenance to resolve quality issues on the line.
Qualifications
At least 5 years manufacturing field experience.
Experience with PLC programming.
Experience with CNC machines preferred.
Experience and expertise in welding stainless, aluminum and/or carbon steel preferred.
At least 1 year in a lead position is preferred.
At least 1 year experience with robotics is preferred.
Background in small packing manufacturing preferred.
