DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in regular periodic Environmental, Health, and Safety training.
Respond rapidly to equipment issues negatively impacting production and/or safety
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on a wide array of equipment including motors, pumps, valves, measuring instruments, PLC, centrifuges, heat exchangers, steam-tube dryers, boilers, conveyors, augers, hammer mills, and process tanks and vessels.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
Complete assigned projects including mechanical and electrical equipment upgrades
Prioritize work through communication with Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor, and process team
Manage work and communicate results by utilizing a CMMS system
Perform maintenance, repairs, equipment installs & troubleshooting in accordance with all company Safety Procedures and OSHA regulations.
Knowledgeable in NFPA 70E Arc Flash Electrical Safety
Able to install, troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits ranging from 12VDC to 480VAC
Perform electrical & mechanical repairs, maintenance, equipment installs & troubleshooting on all production & facility equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3 Year of maintenance electrical or mechanical experience preferred
Must be able to operate forklifts, boom lifts, and front-end loaders
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
Exhibit basic knowledge of electrical service and distribution systems
Be able to have a 30 minute response time when on call
Technical training or previous maintenance related job experience preferred
Possesses a strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins
Able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights
Able climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 100lbs
