What We Do

Low-Carbon Feed and Fuel Solutions

Biofuels

Marquis Energy produces more than 395 million gallons of high-octane, high-performance renewable ethanol fuel per year, as well as Distillers Dried Grains With Solubles (DDGS) and Distillers Corn Oil (DCO). 

Proteins & Animal Feed

To combat the world’s protein shortage, Marquis isolates the protein, fat and fiber parts of corn to produce a traditional Dried Distillers Grains and Solubles (DDGS) animal feed product.

Grain Procurement

Marquis Grain partners with local growers and elevators to procure corn for ethanol production and market Dried Distillers Grains and Solubles (DDGS) to customers around the world. 

Technology

Created by producers for producers in order to maximize the value in each kernel of corn, the Marquis ProCap technology is designed to increase oil yield, decrease energy and increase revenue.

Feed & Fuel Marketing

Marquis has more than 40 years of experience buying and marketing agriculture products. By combining vertical integration with a robust technical team, we sell ethanol and feed products with various specifications for a broad range of global markets.  

Contract Manufacturing

Marquis XT provides custom manufacturing solutions, including private label, contract manufacturing, on-site formulation and bulk industrial ethanol.

Industrial & USP Alcohol

Marquis leverages our logistics advantages and alcohol production expertise to provide an array of high-quality industrial and USP alcohol options. We can provide on-site technical support and have the global reach to participate in worldwide markets. 

Logistics & Infrastructure

The Marquis Industrial Complex in Hennepin, Illinois, is strategically located with global distribution infrastructure to propel growth. Marquis also has a site in Necedah, Wisconsin, which is similarly positioned for distribution and growth.

Section 45Z: Clean Fuel Production Credit

As we await additional federal guidance on 45Z, we are investing in our growers’ operations by paying for a third-party (Verdova) verified Carbon Intensity (CI) score on our growers’ existing farm operations.

Through American-made energy, Marquis promotes domestic manufacturing and strengthens U.S. agriculture, aviation, and marine transportation industries. Strategically located on the Mt. Simon geological formation, the Marquis Industrial Complex has the capacity to store over 100 million tons of carbon dioxide,  using carbon capture technology, reinforcing America’s leadership in energy innovation.
